问：如果你的女儿想要成为一个模特，你将来会说什么？
A：“我会对她说，'你可以成为你想要的任何东西。'我们抚养我们的孩子走进世界。如果我的妈妈没有让我在14岁时离开家，如果她没有信任我离开，我就不会成为今天的人。她给了我这个机会，我的女儿会一样。如果我给她相同数量的爱我的父母给了我，她会没事的。I don’t want to repeat myself, but I always remember that I slept in a room with my five sisters, in a bunk bed on top and we had to be like, ‘I’m in the shower, I’m in the shower,’ taking turns. I never lacked anything throughout my childhood—running around barefoot and taking eggs from the chickens was heaven and that’s what I want to create for my kids. I want them to experience that because that’s my reality, that’s my experience, and that’s what made me who I am. So, as long as I give my kids the opportunity to experience that, they’re going to be able to make the right choices in their lives. I have to give them the dignity of their own process—their life is not my life, they are one special soul and they came here to experience their own experience and whatever they want to be—so, I’m just going to love them and support them. My kids teach me so much. They teach me to be patient. There’s not a bad day with these children, I feel so blessed. So, I think that when you become a mom you become even more sensitive and more overwhelmed with emotions—I feel everything so much more and it’s such a beautiful thing because I feel like our hearts just expand. Children put everything into perspective and it’s a huge commitment. You have to clear so many things out of your life to make space for them. If I’m going to do one right thing in my life, I hope to be the best mom I can be, because to me that’s the most important thing. Nothing else matters.”
